Today we have one coming in from across the pond.  UK indie rock band Foals has done something pretty sweet with the first single off their new album Holy Fire. "Inhaler" follows the same recipe as AWOLNATION's "Sail" in a lot of ways, and comes with a pretty cool (and slightly NSFW) video too. Have a great day.

Warning: Video may be NSFW

As summer slips away "Redeemer" is a perfect track to kick back with a cold one and watch the sun go down.   This track is brought to us by the New Jersey based multi-instrumentalist Delicate Steve. Check out his newest album Positive Force over here for more good vibes.

Check out this funky little jammer off Lotus's latest self-titled effort.  The Song is called "Bush Pilot" and features some downright fun drum, horn, and string arrangements.  If you like what ya hear hit up the link below to grab Lotus in the format of your choice via Bandcamp.  Enjoy!

It would seem that summer has suddenly landed here in Memphis.  In celebration, check out this nice chill track from Swimwear.  The song is called "Easy High" and is the perfect track to cool down with.  In the style of bands such as Memory Tapes, Washed Out, and Small Black, Swimwear creates feel good electronic-pop with a throwback twist.  Listen below and grab The Kissing Machine Ep over at Bandcamp

...And we're back! Let's start things off right today with this awesome performance by Shakey Graves.  This Texas based (one man) band is the love child of Alejandro Rose-Garcia.  His first album Roll The Bones is available over at Bandcamp for free (or name your own price if you're feeling generous), so grab it while the getting is good!  Check out "Roll The Bones" preformed live at Trophy's Bar and Grill in Austin, Texas last year.  I dare you not to watch it twice.

"Acid Wolfpack" is the newest track by dubstep artist Coyote Kisses.  This song is just downright awesome, and with a name like "Acid Wolfpack" what's not to love? Anyway download their stuff over at beatport, and check out "Acid Wolfpack" below.
Take a listen to this fresh track off French electronic artist Pyramid's newest release, Life Above The Stars.  The Ep is a great listen filled with whimsical 80's style electronic riffs. To steam the album head over to their Bandcamp Page.

Here is a nice gem dug up by MusicNinja.  The song is "Little Man" by Little Dragon, which is beautifully remixed by Vindata.  The combination of Little Dragon's leading lady's sultry vocals, and the extra smooth electronica beats laid down by Vindata, make this one a definite keeper.  Have a listen below and don't forget to grab the FREE download!

Mimicking Birds are a Portland based trio under the careful watch of Issac Brock and his Glacial Pace recording label.  If there is one thing to be said, Mr. Brock sure does know how to pick em'.  Mimicking Birds has a nice folky  sound about them reminiscent to Fleet Foxes.  Check out their newest song called "Walking In The Air", as well as one off their 2010 debut self-titled album below.  Enjoy!

Here is another SXSW gem for ya.  Austin-Based six-piece Wild Child has been making some well earned ripples in the folk music pond.  Their sound is similar to Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, using back and forth banter and singing between the male and female lead singers.  Here's a nice excerpt of an amazing review of their debut album Pillow Talk (available at Bandcamp) and track "The Tale Of You & Me" by The Music Ninja:

"Their debut album ‘Pillow Talk’ (mastered by grammy-winning engineer Erik Wofford) is about the journeys of modern romance and the fortifying love of two people deeply united. With every song you get a new story told entirely different and yet able to express the exact same emotions that two people can feel true love. ‘The Tale Of You & Me’ happens to be the last track on the album, and one of the most powerful. The playful tongue-n-cheek lyrics, flirt-ful banter and a surprising background choir rising to the occasion, fill the song with an uncompromising childlike joy, similar to two hearts reunited once again."

Off of Andrew Bird's new album Break It Yourself. I'm kinda obsessed.

"And we'll dance like cancer survivors -
like we're grateful simply to be alive."

Love it. Hope you do to.
Off their new album Idiots, check out "Can't Come Back" by TJ Kong & the Atomic Bomb.  They have created some kind of alt-country with hints of Tom Waits and a little whiskey on the side.  Their album is available to stream or purchase over at Bandcamp.

Today I give you a nice sultry remix to ponder over.  The original track is the ghostly "Animals" by trip-hop duo Creep with vocals by Holy Miranda.  The track is beautify remixed by Alpines.  Go on, put you ears on it!

Mob Deep' s partner in crime, Prodigy, has released his H.N.I.C.3 Mixtape this week. The album features performances by French Montana, Waka Flocka, and Cory Gunz, and is produced by Harry Fraud, the J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, and Little People.  And the best part is it's a FREE Download!  Get it here.  For today, our song of the day is actually the intro song to the album.  The track is a dark and brooding journey; delicately placed over Little People's "Unsaid".  Give it a listen:

Here's one to warm the soul on a cold winter day.  Off their new album Country, check out Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad's "Love You More".

I'm really excited about this one.  Today's song is a cover of one of my favorite songs of 2010 by one of my favorite bands circa 2002.  The song is "Wait So Long" by Trampled By Turtles and it is covered wonderfully by emo darlings Motion City Soundtrack.  Yeah.  Listen.

I found this nice instrumental track today from "hip-hop" producer Boom Bip.  It starts off with some nice chill guitar and drum beats then picks up with sprinkles of violin scattered throughout.  After a little research, it turns out the track samples a song called "Hyrule Symphony".  Yeah, that Hyrule.  Here is a nice little short film with "Roads Must Roll" as a perfect backdrop. Check it out!

Oh those crazy Brits! Check this video out and tell me it's not one of the weirdest songs you've ever heard.

Then there's this less than classy little number from Aiden Moffet and Bill Wells called Glasgow Jubilee.
The Montreal duo responsible for several awesome dubsteppy remixes lately have been at it again.  This time it's of a more original variety, while staying very true to the sound we have all come to love from Adventure Club. Check out their newest single "Do I See Color", and while your at it grab the free download. You know you want it.

"I'd put it up against my mother-in-law's sweet potato pie!"
Yeah.
