Keller Williams is someone I have been listening to here and there since I was about 14 years old. Though in the last few years or more the listening has been close to nonexistent. This man can do it all from his energy and antics to his musical diversity and unique style. I can now say I have dug back in, thanks to recently being able to catch him play with a couple of his "projects." I forgot how many people and bands Keller is constantly playing with and if you do not know who he is you should check out a few of them as you are sure to find at least one of them interesting.
His group "Keller Williams with the Travelin' McCourys" has caught my attention for the strange cover choices which they turn around into grassified bluegrass tunes. Also, not to mention the talent between the guys is ridiculous: joining Keller is Ronnie McCoury, Rob McCoury, Alan Bartrum, and Jason Carter who are all very well respected members of the bluegrass community...ever heard of Del McCoury??
