I had the pleasure of meeting the two lead singers of Paper Thick Walls, Eric and Katie Sunday night at the Poplar Lounge after performing an impromptu and last minute acoustic set. Not only was their live performance very personable and beautiful, but they were also very nice and open people, which is refreshing. Straight from Chicago, this band has mucho potential and already has a very large local following. The set I saw last Sunday was just the two of them, however they usually perform with a full band of five, which I think is a must see. They were on their way to SXSW and just stopped in for a mini gig, and let's just say that I am glad I took the opportunity to go and see them. If you are in Austin this week, check them out!
