Smoke em' if you got em'. It's time for some of the freshest new hip-hop out there. First up is an SV favorite Sol. This very talented rapper has really made a hell of an album with Yours Truly, just released last week. He manages to keep his beats super chill while laying down tight lyrics that keep your head bobbing. The guy even samples an old SNES game on "Falling Stars". I won't give it away though. Yours Truly is available over at AmazonMp3 (for the time being) for under six bucks. I Highly Recommend. If you need a little convincing just check out his new video for "2020" below.
Next up hip-hop newcomer, and artist of one of our favorite albums of 2011, Logic has dropped a new track. With the name "Young Sinatra III" it seems to be somewhat of a sequel to last year's "Young Sinatra II". As usual, Logic raps about real issues with such a smooth flow to his lyrics it's impossible not to get swept up with it. Only time will tell but, if Logic an keep up his momentum of releasing tracks this good, there may be no stopping him.
